Singapore GP Pit Lane experience

I think this picture does not need a lot of explanation of how great the evening was yesterday. We went a little early to the Pit Lane and therefore decided to walk along the track so that we could see how far the preparations were done. We saw teams preparing for the race by walking around the whole track. Accidentally we then ended up in front of the Paddock entrance instead of Gate 1 where we were supposed to go. As you can already see from the picture we met Nico Rosberg there!! So incredible!! We was very nice to us and funny as well! At that moment there wasn't much left to make this day better. Since we didn't know where to go we asked a security guy about the direction and he told us to enter at the Paddock entrance and then follow a street to Gate 1. What he missed out on was that thereby we already entered the F1 Village. Or to put it differently, we were already inside the area that we wanted to go to even though it was not yet open. So when we reached Gate 1 we could see all the other people standing outside waiting for the gate to open while we could already get our wristbands and explore the village. After an Australian boy band performed on the Village stage we queued up for the Pit lane entrance. The walk over the track at night is just great. The lights are shining brighter than the sun and you could already here the noise from the garages where the teams were still working on the cars. In the Pit Lane we could watch teams testing pits stops, teams repairing cars and cars returning from inspection. It was so cool to be so close, just look at the pictures. I think the Singapore GP is something worth visiting!!
