This weekend was really great! On Friday we went to the Movies by the Bay. It is an monthly outdoor cinema organized by one of the local banks. I only got to know about it on Thursday so it was kind of a spontaneous decision. The main reason why I wanted to go there was because they showed "Despicable Me 1". It is definitely one of my favorite movies! The event was so cool because it took place right in front of the Marina Bay Sands hotel and therefore we had an awesome view on the skyline of Singapore at night. Really spectacular! Afterwards we went back to Utown and relaxed a bit before going to bed. On Saturday we met with Julia and Guan Yu again! They took us to several parks and we saw lot's interesting animals and plants! In an herbal garden I could even try a little chili which turned out to be quite spicy. All along the trek we had great fun and an enjoyable time! Before we reach the end of our trip, we got to the Henderson waves. It is a bridge that is shaped like waves and which offers cosy spaces to relax and take a break. And that was also what we did. Then Julia and Guan Yu brought us to a very good Chinese restaurant for dinner.We tried all different kind of interesting as well as traditional food. Among it were hand made dumplings (Xiao long Bao) and different vegetables (Dou Miao & Nai Bai). The taste of everything was really awesome! We enjoyed it a lot! Later we tried a new chocolate.... Those who already had the chance to try it know what I am talking about. It is a soft refrigerated chocolate that melts in your mouth! Just awesome!!! Later that night"Despicable Me 2" was running.... And I took this awesome picture of me with the Minion!!! Soooooooo great!
